Undeclared Pre-Major

You can be successful focusing on your studies without initially declaring a major at Susquehanna University. In fact, you’ll be making an informed decision after you take time to review degree choices in arts, humanities and sciences programs.

Honors Program

The Honors Program is devoted to intellectual excellence, exemplified by the creative interplay of teaching, learning and scholarship. If you are curious and love to explore ideas, the Honors Program is for you!

Pre-Professional Programs

Pre-Health Professions

Pre-health professions is a track that prepares you to for the next step toward a professional, doctoral-level healthcare career in dentistry, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, veterinary medicine. 

Pre-Law

Our preprofessional law program will guide and prepare you. It’s an advising program that provides resources and guidance to help you assess your interest and readiness for law school. You’ll also benefit from research, experiential and networking opportunities.

Pre-Ministry

We have a special interest in preparing students for service in the church, including the ordained ministry, parish work, diaconal ministry, social ministry and ministry in music.

Post-Graduate Programs

Master of Education

A Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction (M.Ed.) degree from Susquehanna will make you a better teacher by deepening your understanding of teaching and learning.

Teacher Intern Program

If you have a bachelor’s degree, you can gain a teaching certificate by completing professional education courses mandated by Pennsylvania and completing the Teacher Intern Program (TIP) with at least a 3.0 GPA.

Master’s in Management and Organizational
Leadership

As a student in Susquehanna University’s science programs, you can be granted assured acceptance into the Penn State Smeal College of Business Master’s in Management and Organizational Leadership program that bridges the gap between your science or technical background and the business world.

MBA 4+1 Program

Thinking about starting your own business? Want to make yourself stand out in a competitive job market? As a Susquehanna student, you can select any major and go on to earn your Master of Business Administration in as little as one year — that’s a whole year less than typical MBA programs in the U.S. require.
